  • What happens in a typical therapy session?
Each therapy session is a safe, supportive space for you to share what’s on your mind. We’ll talk through your thoughts, emotions, and experiences, while we listen, ask questions, and offer insights or coping strategies. Sessions are tailored to meet your unique needs and are always confidential.
  • How long does therapy last?
The length of therapy varies for each person. Some clients start feeling relief within a few sessions, while others benefit from ongoing support over several months or even years. We’ll work together to find the pace that feels right for you.
  • How often do I need to attend therapy?
Most clients attend therapy weekly or bi-weekly, though monthly sessions are also available. Your session frequency is flexible and can change based on your needs, availability, and progress.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
Life happens, and we understand that unexpected things can interfere with our sessions. If you need to cancel, we ask for at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice will result in the full session fee. With 24 hours’ notice, there’s no penalty.
  • How are sessions conducted?
All sessions are conducted virtually via Zoom. You’ll just need a safe, private place where you can speak freely and comfortably.
  • Is therapy confidential?
Yes, your privacy is extremely important to us, and all sessions are confidential. There are some exceptions, such as if there’s a risk of harm to yourself or others, or if disclosure is required by law. We’ll always prioritize your privacy and discuss these limits openly with you.
